Parghelia or "Riva di mare", is known for the beautifull beaches as the unusual "cove" of Michelin 2 minute away from the rock of Pizzuta. Was a colony from Tropea Marine have settled in the territory to found this, destroyed by earthquake and rebuilt in classic mediterranian forms in 1926.

Parghelia now is a small town of 1100 inhabitants.
